This week on NTMA we had our ride on the Lifeboat. Here in NTMA I always imagine what does it feels like to board that thing above the swimming pool. But this week we made that imagination a reality. We board the lifeboat last week with the supervision of our beloved BSN Gonzales. We conducted the onboard experience per group; we have ten cadets each group that consist of a sub leader namely, me on the forward, a leader, six cadets on each side of the lifeboat for the rowing and two for the tying of the painter or called rope to the bollard. The one who is controlling rudder is sir BSN Gonzales. The one that has the hardest part in giving commands is the leader because he has to know all of the commands like oars, rest on oars, up oars etc. I enjoyed this experience because this is the first time I have ride a lifeboat and it was very exciting to have as a memory.
